The Interdisciplinary Institute of Gender Studies ( IIEGE ), Faculty of Arts at the University of Buenos Aires and the Latin American Study Group, Training and Action Sexuality Gender and Culture ( GLEF ) invite a conference of Latin American thinkers reflect on the possibilities of critical feminist thought in the region. On this occasion, with special emphasis will address the future of feminism, the dis / connection between theory and practice and the tensions between pragmatic and thoughtful policy.

The opening of the Symposium will be held on Wednesday June 24 at 19 pm ., Area Technologies of Gender, Ricardo Rojas Cultural Center, Av Corrientes 2038 , city of Buenos Aires.

Meanwhile, the panels will be extended for three days ( Thursday 25 and Friday 26 from 9 to 20 pm and Saturday 27 from 9 to 14 hours ) in Rock Museum, Vicente López 2220 , CABA. Throughout these days happen several meeting spaces and dissent in which thinkers / activists especially invited to share their reflections in order to understand and address the challenges facing feminist proposals.

We intend to publish the work contributed by the guests and agreements as well as the discussions generated during the conference.
